Animal Assistant Therapy

We often treat animals badly but at times they are able to do what we can’t. We get angry and show various kinds of emotions according to time and situations. But certain animals being nice at all times can help cure patients with mental and behavioral disorders. The animal assistant therapy is a practice where animals are engaged for the said purpose. It is an effective alternative therapeutic practice. The animals are strictly trained to be calm, friendly, faithful, loving, and even not to get angry and bite when mistreated. Mostly dogs are engaged as they are more efficiently trainable.
The patients of depression, anxiety, dementia, etc are made to interact with these assistants in various sessions to recover and improve their mind states and behaviors. Those patients who hardly responsive to what their family, doctors or nurses say is said of showing positive effect by this therapy. By having close interaction with the animal assistants patients show responses playing or laughing. Animals being simple, loving, faithful and innocent, patients find simpler and easier to absorb and act in response. The natures and cool behaviors of the animals show the patients to understand and learn the nature of being calm, happy and playful. And it makes their quick recovery possible and efficient. So, I guess it’s a considerably good option. It can work for both young and old, children in need too can get maximum benefits. Animals need us for we need them. we need to love them for what they are.

Memory enhancer

A plant call Indian pennyworth (local name peruk in Manipur) which grows creeping at the ground with rounded leaves is a fabulous medicine. It abundantly grows in swampy areas in India and other neighboring countries. It is a blood purifier and a memory enhancer. The plant posses a shape of brain and it is best for brain. So it is very much recommendable to people of all age groups. And it is good for students too. But it is somewhat bitter in taste. But the bitterness can be easily gone after eating 4/5 times I mean after become familiar with it. We too at 1st avoid it but later after knowing its property we take it all the time. Eating raw is a good option and the decoction liquid of boiling the leaves with water is effective too. The whole plant without its roots is eatable. It also boosts the immune system and is beneficial for mental disorders. Refer medicinal plants for better understanding.

Simple ways to control Depression

Depression is becoming a very common condition for people of many ages. In today’s world of close competition in every way and hatred and failure are some of its reasons. If it is minor depression we can overcome it or control it well to save ourselves from going critical. For it listening to good music, practicing yoga, playing games and sports, dancing, morning walks are some of the recommendations from the experts.
I’m a very emotional person and sometimes I worried a lot. During my teenage-hood I had in-depth depression thinking about family, instability, social matters, siblings, etc. all these causes drived me bad, but I felt the need to overcome it. And I come to read a book on yoga where there are given details to practice yoga along with its therapeutic effects. It was around 1996 that I started going with it without hesitation. And I could feel improvement within myself. Yoga was already spread out throughout the world but still there were many who don’t know about it at that time. Yoga came into wider recognition only when it was well shown in Hollywood or other movies. Now almost everyone is aware of its need in present day environment of a hectic and competitive lifestyle. It saves us to suffer from depressions on daily costs by making our body and mind rest adequately.
