Chocolate for heart…!!

I don’t have clear idea about how lovers started giving chocolates as gifts? May be because girls love it or it is sweet. But what the study showed is that chocolates are healthy for heart too. It is said that chocolate is made of cocoa solids, cocoa butter, sugar and milk in certified ratios. As we know it is called chocolate for having cocoa solids which is bitter part of cocoa beans of cocoa tree. Earlier, Chocolates are said to be avoided for having some amount of Nickel (harmful metal element) in its preparation. In the mean time a good serving can give nice daily calcium requirement as it has Calcium with vitamin D and phytosterols (plant chemicals) which helps in reducing cholesterol level is an added component. And it has always been a celebration and festival good and both children and adults like it much. Well the recent claim is that flavanols, an antioxidant present in chocolates can reduce blood pressure. However, nearly four ounces that’s 3-4 regular size dark chocolate bars, consumed every day to promote a reduction in blood pressure! That’s 500 calories and 42 grams of fat! Well too much indulgence may be bad but some light chocolate refreshment will be healthy for the heart just like your heart smiles when you see your lover.

Memory enhancer

A plant call Indian pennyworth (local name peruk in Manipur) which grows creeping at the ground with rounded leaves is a fabulous medicine. It abundantly grows in swampy areas in India and other neighboring countries. It is a blood purifier and a memory enhancer. The plant posses a shape of brain and it is best for brain. So it is very much recommendable to people of all age groups. And it is good for students too. But it is somewhat bitter in taste. But the bitterness can be easily gone after eating 4/5 times I mean after become familiar with it. We too at 1st avoid it but later after knowing its property we take it all the time. Eating raw is a good option and the decoction liquid of boiling the leaves with water is effective too. The whole plant without its roots is eatable. It also boosts the immune system and is beneficial for mental disorders. Refer medicinal plants for better understanding.
